Italy’s Famous 1000 Miglia Vintage Car Rally Comes to the U.S.

Racing legends from Europe and the United States hit the road again.

The Mille Miglia is coming to America. One of the most famous car races in the world, the original Mille Miglia was held quasi-annually in the 30 years between 1927 and 1957 on a 1000-mile circuit that formed a bent loop between Brescia, Bologna, Rome, and Milan. Italian cars such as Alfa Romeos, Maseratis, Lancias, and Ferraris dominated the race, as did Italian drivers, but famed marques like Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes also participated, as did some American brands.
